Dear Irish Friends, You are probably heartbroken seeing today's result of the referendum. Some of you I had a chance to see today and to share my unity and some words of consolation. During the moments of trial keep the promise of the Lord.

"So it is with you: you are sad now, but I shall see you again, and your hearts will be full of joy, and that joy no one shall take from you. When that day comes, you will not ask me any questions. In all truth I tell you, anything you ask from the Father he will grant in my name." John 16:22-23

What we can offer in this time of massive offence towards Most Holy Triune God is to show him our love and closeness. And remember 'The Lord is close to the brokenhearted' Psalm 34:14

Many Polish people here in Ireland and in Poland too, who were with you in this difficult time and still are close to you in this sorrowful time.

The Spirit will lead us with his power to proclaim the truth, we are never alone.
