All the best to all my American friends on this Thanksgiving day! In a special way to Mary Lastowka and Iwona Bednarz-Major :)

In the history of my family USA played a very important role. My great grandparents met in the States in early 20th century and got married in Chicago.

Then my great grandmother with 2 years old grandma went back to Poland. Great grandfather was planing to join them later, stayed to earn some money probably. Unfortunately died soon after but American mark is strong in our family tree :) Not to mention more recent bounds made by Mirosław Parys :)

Today I ordered in our dining room a turkey pie for lunch as a sign of that connection :)
