Catechism of the Catholic Church - take it for the journey throughout the year of faith.

I just came back from the preparation meeting. Early in November we are going to begin a series of catechises for adults in Clonmel according the Catechism. There are open to everybody practising Catholics, lapsed ones, atheists, agnostics etc.

I saw tonight a great zeal for the spreading the Faith and a real hunger for the knowledge of it. Decades of a poor catechises badly damaged faith in souls of many Catholics. Even more: Many of them never really got a chance to even have a glimpse what our faith is all about. There will be a lot of advertising: the radio, newspapers, leaflets, parish newsletters. So we have to face the challenge but - he is the one who is going to lead us: the Holy Spirit the Paraclete! "Not by might, and not by power, but by my spirit, says the LORD of hosts." Zeh 4:6
